It is recommended that your consultation takes place soon after you have chosen your dress, as this beautifully informs your overall aesthetic. Philippa dedicates as much time as you require on this special day — typically around two hours — with the option for her to visit you in the comfort of your own home or welcome you to her home in North London.

Together, you will explore your inspirations, any chosen colour palette, the style of your dress, and your everyday makeup preferences. Once Philippa has a clear understanding of your desired look, she will expertly craft and refine your bridal makeup until it feels perfectly aligned with your vision.

Above all, Philippa’s priority is for you to look effortlessly like yourself — only more radiant and elevated. Whether you prefer a soft, luminous finish or a more defined, glamorous look, your makeup will be tailored entirely to you. Delicate, natural lashes can also be added to beautifully enhance your eyes should you wish.

If you would like to secure Philippa’s makeup services for your wedding day she will send out an invoice where a deposit is required. This will secure the date for you and you can then book your bridal trial when it suits you.

Once you have decided how many of your wedding party would like making up, Philippa will put together (at no extra cost) a schedule which also works around your hair stylist and she will liaise with your event planner. This schedule will always ensure that you have a stress free day and have enough time just before your ceremony for any photos and/or relaxation time.

Philippa advises that you have your hair pretty much finished BEFORE your makeup but this is not essential. She also advises that where possible your hair stylist comes to the location where you are getting married if possible.

Philippa also specialises in Jewish Weddings, and as such she is happy to stay with you right up until you leave for the Bedekin. If you require her after the Chuppah for any makeup touch ups or a makeup change there will be an additional cost.
